Mullet are a great fish because not only are they strong fighters and a real challenge to catch – they’re also a great eating fish too.
There are 4 main types of Mullet:
- Thin Lipped
- Thick Lipped
- Golden Grey
- Red Mullet
If you catch a Mullet I suggest the best way to cook it is the natural, simple way. Gut it first, and then paste some garlic butter on the inside, wrap in foil and bake in oven for about 25 minutes….Mmmmmmm Mmmmmmmm!
